Championing better support for people living with chronic conditions

The piece shares fresh insight from Convatec’s flagship research report, Perspectives on living with chronic conditions, and calls for stronger understanding, empathy and action from the healthcare community.

Drawing on the real‑world experiences of people managing long‑term chronic conditions, the editorial explores how stigma, emotional burden and day‑to‑day challenges continue to shape patients’ lives. It highlights why truly listening to patients, and responding in ways that go beyond clinical care, is essential to enabling full and confident living.
