Forever caring for communities
Our commitment to communities
“We engage with communities because improving health doesn't happen in isolation - it happens when we listen, build trust and work with those closest to local needs.”

Community investment
Forever caring is central to who we are. It underpins our commitment to doing business responsibly and to improving the lives we touch through the way we operate every day. We bring this promise to life through Convatec Cares - our framework for responsible business. Learn more here.
Our approach to communities focuses on three areas where we believe we are best positioned to move the needle:
;
Tackling health inequities
At Convatec, closing the care gap is an important part of our forever caring promise. And we recognise that the shifting nature of healthcare systems means that often, care happens in the home or community settings.
In 2023, Convatec launched a three-year, $2 million partnership with the international NGO Partners In Health (PIH), united by a mission to improve access to chronic care and strengthen community health systems through innovative Community Health Worker (CHW) programmes. Initially focused on Mexico, Peru and the United States, the partnership supports scalable local solutions, cross site learning and practical knowledge exchange. Working alongside PIH, we’re helping to strengthen how CHWs are recruited, trained and supported, while building community centred models of care and using data more effectively to reach people who need help most. Collectively, we’re contributing to more equitable, accessible health systems.
Our impact with PIH

Our partnership
In 2026, we extended our partnership with PIH, alongside additional support to PIH from The Eli Lilly and Company Foundation, to build on the impact achieved to date and extend our collective efforts to strengthen community health systems. With a collective commitment of nearly $5 million, this next phase supports the integration of chronic and non‑communicable disease care into primary and community health systems, scaling proven CHW models and investing in locally-led solutions that create lasting change in resource-limited settings.
This next phase with Convatec continues work in Peru and introduces a new collaboration with the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda, supporting innovation, research and the development of future health leaders.
We will support this work through a combination of financial support, product donations and technical expertise, helping ensure PIH and its partners have the tools and capabilities needed to scale their deep local knowledge and networks.
The charitable work of PIH supported by the Lilly Foundation grant will focus on strengthening the integration of cardiometabolic and other non‑communicable disease care into primary care systems in resource-limited settings in Rwanda Sierra Leone, and Malawi.
With this support, PIH will be able to further scale its integrated models of care and embed sustainable approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and management of chronic and non‑communicable diseases, as healthcare systems continue to evolve.

We are committed to standing with communities in moments that matter and helping to build long‑term resilience. Our support spans humanitarian response, including targeted support to help communities recover from crises, working with trusted partners to deliver essential products and assistance where health systems are under strain.
;
Forever caring month
In addition to our commitments to partnerships that involve product and monetary donations in the above areas, we also encourage our employees to take at least two days annually to volunteer in their local communities.
Observed annually from November-December, Forever Caring Month is a moment to celebrate how our promise shows up in communities, as colleagues around the world support causes that matter in their communities. Throughout the campaign, teams contribute time, skills and energy to local organisations, strengthening connections and building pride across Convatec. It is a practical expression of our values and forever caring promise, empowering colleagues to make a positive difference where they live and work.
