Director updates

London, UK, 3 November 2026 – Convatec today announces the following Board changes.

Jill McConnell has been appointed Convatec’s Chief Financial Officer (Designate) from 1 January 2027, becoming CFO from 1 March 2027. See Chief Financial Officer succession arrangements announcement published today for further details.

Fiona Ryder will remain Chief Financial Officer until the end of February 2027, when she will leave the business.

Brian May has been appointed as Senior Independent Director, succeeding Margaret Ewing, effective 3 November 2026.

Tobias Hestler has been appointed as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, also succeeding Margaret Ewing, effective 3 November 2026.

Margaret Ewing will remain a member of the Board, Audit and Risk Committee and Nomination Committee to support this transition, and will continue to fulfil her role as Non-Executive Director until she retires from the Board on or before the Company’s next Annual General Meeting.

Dr John McAdam, Chair of the Board, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our deepest thanks to Margaret for her considerable contribution as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Since 2017, Margaret has brought significant experience, insight and judgement to the Board, and her leadership and counsel have been greatly valued.

“I am very pleased to welcome Jill to the Board next year and look forward to working with her when she becomes CFO. I would also like to thank Fiona Ryder, who, as recently announced, will stand down from the Board and as CFO at the end of February 2027. Fiona has made a substantial contribution to the business through its turnaround, for which we are very grateful.

“I am pleased that Margaret will continue to serve on the Board to support this transition, and I look forward to working with Tobias and Brian in their new roles.”
