Non-Executive Director appointment

London, UK, 27 August 2026 – Convatec, a leading medical products and technologies company focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions, today announces the appointment of Dr Jens Viebke as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately. He also joins the Remuneration Committee.

 

Jens brings more than three decades of experience developing and commercialising healthcare technologies across the life sciences and medical technology sectors, including leadership roles at Getinge, GE Healthcare Life Sciences and Amersham Biosciences. His experience spans R&D, strategy, product development, commercial operations and general management, and will complement the Board’s expertise in innovation, product development and global medtech markets, supporting Convatec’s continued focus on innovation-driven growth as it executes its Accelerate strategy.

Jens is currently a Non-Executive Director of Bone Support AB, Sedana Medical AB and Stille AB. He is also Chairman of Epista Life Science.
