Consultation

We aim to carry out a meaningful two-stage community consultation that delivers positive long-term outcomes for the Rhymney community. The first part of our consultation, the early engagement, will run from Wednesday 14 June to Sunday 16 June to give local people the opportunity to find out more and influence the proposals. We will be holding two early engagement public exhibitions to allow members of the public the opportunity to come along and discuss the proposals with members of the project team:
4pm to 8pm | Wednesday 28 June 2023 | St. David's Community Centre, High Street, Rhymney, NP22 5BB |
10am to 2pm | Thursday 29 June 2023 | Ael y Bryn Sports & Community Centre, Aneurin Terrace, Rhymney, NP22 5DR |
- If you are unable to attend our events, a downloadable PDF of the exhibition boards are available here.
- A feedback form will be available at the events and can also be completed online here.
- Please send in your comments by Sunday 16 July.
- The project is at a very early stage and the final layout has therefore not yet been decided. This will be informed by feedback from the early engagement and ongoing studies.
- The detailed proposals will form the basis of the second stage of community consultation, during a planned statutory consultation period, in Autumn 2023.
